Normally, I am not a joiner.  Following the crowd, for the sake of following the crowd, is not my thing.  Most of my friends are left leaning in their politics while I lean a little more than a little to the right.  So when I heard the chicks were going to start a little bit of a blogging club I chuckled.  Well, I am chuckling no more.

@lindork, @Joanna_Farley and @JenBanksYEG and @TamaraStecyk are writing on racism and discrimination.  The deadline is fast approaching.  I am certain we are going to hear about their experiences of racism, either because one is Jewish, the other is Asian and so on.  So I am going to give an opinion of racism and discrimination in this day and age. 

My simple question is what drives racism and/or discrimination, and who are the real victims?

I want things back the way they were. I’m tired of being politically correct. I’m tired of having to worry about the feelings of people who don’t give a rat’s ass about me or my feelings. Simply put, I am fed up!

Last night on my way to Calgary a Trans X truck decided to pass me on a blind bend. No big deal, but the asshole had his high beams and fog lights on. I flashed him with my work (back-up) lights to let him know he was blinding me. This was to no avail. The moron ignored me. So I let go on the CB. I asked a simple question. “Is it foggy in the hammer lane?” Of course I received no answer. A truck a little ways back piped up that had I looked I would have noticed that the truck was being driven by a “New Canadian.” Go figure. My response was simple. “Ignorant Prick.”

I am what liberal multiculturalism has made me.

Jo Biden said that presidential candidate Senator Barak Obama is articulate and the whole U.S. media machine went into overdrive. Did Biden really mean “Obama speaks well” or did he mean, “not bad English for a black man”? Twenty-five or so years ago I would have immediatly assumed the former.
